Anodizing
Anodizing is the process of growing an aluminum oxide layer from the original aluminum surface by connecting the piece to the anode in an electrolyte bath. depending on what the electrolyte bath is will give you which type of anodizing film you are left with, Chromic acid for type I and sulfuric acid for type II and type III. We offer the full range of additives for anodizing including additives to help improve the light fastness of your dyed parts or a post seal additive to increase the alkaline resistance of the anodized aluminum.
