Thanksgiving (and Football) in Michigan

Thanksgiving is perhaps the most exciting holiday of the year for many people. It is not only a time to eat great food, but it also is a time to gather with friends and family, give thanks for all the great things that happened in the past year, and most importantly, to watch some Detroit Lions Football.

What a year so far it has been for the Detroit Lions. The Lions broke their 7-year losing streak this year and moved on to be 11-1 for the year. At this point, Super Bowl is the expectation for the Lions, however with so many injuries on defense, it could be a scary factor going into the playoffs. Hopefully, the players injured can find their way back onto the field and that the Lions can continue their dominating ways, all the way to the Super Bowl.

There are many things to be thankful for this year, including many things personal or business, but perhaps the most important, I am grateful that the Detroit Lions have turned their program around and that it is so exciting to watch football every Sunday.
